National Wear Red Day

Friday, February 6th is National Wear Red Day to bring awareness to womens' heart disease. I made this little red dress in 2008 to send to my sister not long after she had her heart surgery. This is the poem I sent with it:

A pretty little dress
to mark your page
Slip me on the corner
and there I'll stay
Need a pin to wear
on your chest?
What better then this
Little Red Dress?
I'll bring awareness to
Women's Heart Disease
So wear it proudly
and spread the word
For all to see.

    I love this every time I see it. This is one cutie that I don't have. hint hint. hahaha Over the years, Cindy you have really spoiled me with so many of your wonderful goodies. So YES I will admit - I'm spoiled.
